Post Occupancy Evaluations
The workplace is forever changing, so your POE is essential at regular intervals after your new workplace is occupied.
Though the activities of reviewing the performance of the workplace has traditionally looked at the performance of building services such as air conditioning and lighting, our specialist team also looks at the performance of the workplace to determine how not only the built environment, but also the tools provided to your employees enable or disable them in performing to their optimum.
The Post Occupancy Evaluation process has a focus on:
- understanding what works and does not work in the workspace;
- provide recommendation on the gaps in the new workplace;
- provide recommendations on the risks associated with the gaps and quantify the cost of closing the gaps
Post Occupancy Evaluations are not only about understanding the successes or the failures of a project, but both.
We engage with an organisations staff by survey, interviews and focus groups to understand what works and what does not work.
Though the POE has a focus on the workplace design and technology, the traditional built environment services such as air conditioning, lighting, vertical transportation options are also assessed.
